About Us

We Bop choir is an all-woman ensemble choir singing classic pop and soul songs from the heart. With a glorious repertoire from pop greats like Joni Mitchell, Patti Smith, Bjork, Adele, Jess Glynne, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Prince, We Bop create gorgeous a cappella and accompanied covers in 4-part harmony with original arrangements by choir leader Rachel Myer.

All the arrangements are taught by ear in a relaxed and supportive environment. Care is taken to make all the harmonies easily singable, and within a comfortable range. You will be amazed as the arrangements get sung into life part by part. With access to online guide vocal tracks, learning the songs is both fun and enjoyable.

As experienced singers, Rachel Myer & choir deputy, Debby Tyndall, will help you unlock your true vocal potential and give you performing tips to build your confidence on the stage.

We Bop love to perform and entertain. Over the years we have sung at many different events and venues in Brighton and London. They are too numerous to list, but the most memorable include: The Spiegeltent, Elderflower Fields Festival main stage, Cadogan Hall as part of Sangerstevene International Choir Festival, Brighton AMEX stadium for the Rugby World Cup 2017, The Dome as part of Street Choir Festival & Kemp Town Carnival.

Rachel Myer is an experienced choir leader, vocal coach, arranger and professional singer. She is passionate about giving people the opportunity to find their voice and sing. The choir is a great opportunity to learn about your voice, sing great songs with other local women and experience the joy of performing.
