DESCRIPTION:We are taking on new members in January 2020. We are looking for confident singers to join us for 2 exciting gigs. A multi choir concert at St George’s Church\, Kemp Town in aid of Winston’s Wish on 29th Feb 2020 and a Fringe Festival Show called ‘Journey Of Love’ at the Spiegeltent on 17th May 2020.  We’ll be singing a lovely selection of classic soul & pop songs by artists such as Etta James\, Jess Glynne\, The O’Jays\, Aretha Franklin\, Laura Nyro\, Earth Wind & Fire\, Stevie Wonder & more… All arranged by Musical Director\, Rachel Myer in gorgeous 4-part harmony.  All songs are taught by ear with mp3s available to aid learning.  There is no audition\, but this term will suit more experienced singers rather than beginners.If you’d like to find out more come to our free taster session on Wed 8th January 2020. \nIf you can’t attend this session please contact Rachel Myer through the website contact form.

Refreshments including mulled wine & mince pies will be available to purchase at the café. \nProceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Barnardo’s South Coast Supported Lodgings: supporting the transition from care to independent living and helping young people to reach their full potential.

DESCRIPTION:We are very happy to announce that we will be taking part in the London Sangerstevne International Choir Festival 2019 at St Sepulchre-Without-Newgate\, Holborn Viaduct\, London\, EC1A 2DQ. \nNow in its sixteenth year\, this non-competitive choir festival draws choirs from around the country and overseas. It provides a relaxed and supportive environment for choirs to perform a short set to each other and to the general public. There is a lovely mix of pop\, soul\, folk\, classical\, sacred\, adult and children’s choirs. In keeping with the Sangerstevne tradition\, a couple of Festival pieces are sung at the end of each main concert by all the singers who have performed. \nThis will be our 4th appearance at the festival\, and we always look forward to taking part and watching all the other choirs. You can come along to see all these amazing choirs for free! \n
