DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the sound of summer with an evening of glorious\, nature-inspired songs and lush strings. Blending the warmth of pop and the richness of soul\, the programme features fabulous reinterpretations of iconic artists including Fleetwood Mac\, Taylor Swift\, Kate Bush\, Björk\, Laura Mvula\, Earth Wind & Fire\, The Isley Brothers & Marvin Gaye. Shimmering vocal harmonies intertwine with a live band and string quartet\, bringing fresh colour and energy to beloved classics. \nBlooming Hearts is a joyful celebration of music\, nature\, and the spirit of summer—where voices blossom\, strings soar\, and timeless songs burst into life. \nDoors open at 7pm. Music starts at 7.30pm. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks available for purchase. Wheelchair ramp and accessible toilet available. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

DESCRIPTION:Come and sing with We Bop Choir\, Brighton’s all-women pop and soul choir! \nWe perform fabulous covers from an incredible array of artists\, including Fleetwood Mac\, Dua Lipa\, Carole King\, Taylor Swift\, Elton John\, Joni Mitchell\, The Isley Brothers\, Angie Stone\, Björk\, Kate Bush\, Laura Mvula\, Adele\, Dolly Parton and many more. \nOur Musical Director\, Rachel Myer\, writes bespoke arrangements especially for the choir\, giving familiar songs a fresh and unique sound. For our performances\, we’re joined by a professional live band\, creating an exciting\, rich and uplifting experience for both singers and audiences. \nNo previous singing experience is necessary. We Bop Choir welcomes all women aged 18 and over. All songs are taught by ear\, with learning MP3s provided\, so there’s no need to read music. \nWe’re a friendly\, supportive bunch who love to sing\, perform and have fun together. Whether you’re an experienced singer or simply fancy giving singing in a choir a go\, we’d love to meet you! \nWednesdays | 7.30–9.30pm\nBack Hall at One Church\, Florence Road\, Brighton\, BN1 6DL.
